*New Message From Alex!*
-Hey y'all! We've got a new message from Alex!
"9.16.05 - Long time no talk! I'm sorry I haven't checked in for a while, but I have been super busy with my new record. We've got a producer on board who I am really excited about...he was my number one pick to do the record and when he told me he'd loved to work with me, I was on cloud nine! Working with him has been awesome and we just wrote a song together that's incredible. I can't wait for you all to hear it! This record is gonna kick major ass! I'll be checking in again with you all very soon to let you know what label I have signed with (finally!) and all the info regarding the recording process, which will begin shortly. On a side note, I wanted to let you all know that I will be joining my Dad for a few stops in Texas on his crazy road show across the country. I'll be performing a few songs and I'm sure he has embarrassing things to show everyone about me! There are so many exciting things in the works, especially my solo record, and I'll be back soon to tell you all more! Just keep checking right here:) All the love... "

-As you all know, Alex is going solo, so thecallingband.com will be on hiatus. It's still up, and Alex and Aaron own it now. Alex has a new solo site: www.alexband.net and alexbandmusic.com

*Album!*
-Alex is going into the studio in Mid-October! I'll let you all know as soon I I get more info.
*Important Streetteam Info*
-ATTENTION-When Alex's streetteam goes up, The Calling's team will be deleted. If there is anything from The Calling's team that you would like to save, you should do it now. I'll let you all know when Alex's team is up so you can sign up for it! It'll be a fanscape team, so most everything will still be the same.
*Some Site Updates*
-I changed the name of the site to Chasing Alex Band instead of Chasing The Calling. I thought it was very appropriate. I also have been updating other parts of the site.
*New Contest*
-Ahem...this is a good contest, I think... Your new mission is to tell as many people as possible about Alex Band and his new solo career. This can be just by word of mouth, or by going to message boards and posting. Whatever the case is, go to the Log Book page and Log your work. The mission is running until I say it stops, lol. The contest is running until Alex puts out the first single. And the prize: If you have the most points, I'll buy you a ticket and you get to come with me to see Alex when he comes here on his first solo tour! Yay! ...I think it's worth it. So, start spreading the news!
*Alex's Vogue Pics*
-Alex originally did a 10 page photo shoot with Vogue magazine, but only two were printed in the Italy version. Alex looks absolutely dashing in the photos! But the magazine added some of their own little touches, like fake eyebrows and just weird drawn on stuff... to see them, go to alexmaxband.com And go to the High Res pics.
*Listen to Stigmatized and With Or Without You*
-Go to alexmaxband.com and go to the Extras and then Specials page. You can see a 2 minute clip of Stigmatized taken from the Las Vegas show this June. And a minute or so clip of TC covering With Or Without You by U2. These are amazing clips, specially since they are from the last TC performances in a while. Go watch them!
*Alex Joining His Dad on the Full Moon Road Show!*
-If you are a fan of Charles Band'f films, you'll know that he is putting on a little road show this October. Well, Alex will be joining him on a few dates. As of right now, Buffalo is not going to include Alex. Which is a good thing probably, since homecoming is the same night as the Buffalo show!
